Lampedusa, nella notte altro soccorso a barcone con 63 migranti

From small boats left from the Tunisian coast with a few dozen people, to old fishing boats overloaded with hundreds of refugees fleeing the Libyan hell. The balance of arrivals, which already counts over 2,000 migrants, is constantly updated. And the hotspot of the island - despite the continuous transfers with the scheduled ferry to Porto Empedocle or on the quarantine ships - is now on the verge of collapse. ANSA
LAMPEDUSA. Un barcone, con a bordo 63 migranti, è stato soccorso stanotte, al limite delle acque nazionali, dalla motovedetta Cp 312 della Guardia costiera. Nel gruppo di persone provenienti da Egitto, Eritrea, Costa d’Avorio, Senegal, Guinea e Ghana, anche due donne.
L’imbarcazione, che è partita dalla Libia, è stata lasciata alla deriva e tutti i migranti dopo il trasbordo sull’unità di soccorso sono stati portati all’hotspot di Lampedusa dove gli ospiti sono arrivati complessivamente a 644.
Intanto, per tutta la notte, sono andate avanti – con le motovedette della Guardia costiera, carabinieri e guardia di finanza – le ricerche fra Lampedusa e l’isolotto di Lampione dei 9 dispersi dopo il naufragio verificatosi all’alba di ieri. Non è stato recuperato ancora nessun corpo. (ANSA).
